The Lab have two Companies our Dance and Musical Theatre which provide performers with more than regular training. Our company programmes combine industry-led development, mentorship and performance opportunities, giving members the chance to train consistently, grow as individual artists and take their work beyond the studio onto exciting stages and platforms.

THE LAB DANCE COMPANY
The Lab Dance Company is a performance and training company for dancers aged 10–21+, split across our Junior and Senior Companies. Created for dancers who want to push their development beyond their regular classes, The Lab provides a space to train, create, perform and discover what makes you stand out as an artist.
Our annual membership includes industry-led training sessions, usually running 11am–4pm unless otherwise stated, with dancers working across a range of styles alongside industry professionals. Throughout the year, members will also take part in creative projects, concept filming, performance opportunities and exclusive workshops, giving them the chance to put their training into practice and showcase their growth and artistry.
Our focus goes beyond learning choreography. We develop versatility, confidence, individuality and performance quality, helping every member become a stronger, more adaptable all-round performer while encouraging them to find their own artistic identity.
Annual membership is £280 + uniform fee, with the option to pay in full or through a flexible instalment plan.
Where The Lab is invited to take part in an additional external performance, a £10 rehearsal fee per dancer, per rehearsal will apply for any additional rehearsals required.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Passionate dancers aged 10-15 in our Junior company and 16+ in our senior company inclusive of pro dancers who are committed to developing their craft, expanding their versatility and challenging themselves within a supportive but high-standard training environment.
TRAINING
Company members receive a monthly industry-led training session from 11AM - 4PM across multiple styles alongside mentorship, performance development and opportunities to work with different teachers and choreographers.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Training is taken beyond the studio through exciting performance opportunities, including major dance events and platforms such as MOVE IT, CYD?, The Lab productions and other selected performances throughout the year.

THE LAB MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY
Develop the complete performer.
The Lab Musical Theatre Company is a professional-level training company for performers aged 10+, split into our Junior (10–15) and Senior (16+) Companies. Members train one Saturday a month in intensive five-hour sessions focused on singing, acting and dance, led by industry professionals. Throughout the year, members benefit from West End workshops, concept filming, audition preparation, personalised feedback, mentoring, performance opportunities and an exciting end-of-year production, all designed to develop confident, versatile and industry-ready triple-threat performers. Annual membership is £350 + uniform.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Performers aged 10-15 yrs in out junior company and 16+ in our senior company with a passion for Musical Theatre who want to strengthen their skills across all three disciplines, build confidence and gain further experience working and performing as part of a company.
TRAINING
Members have a monthly training session 11AM - 4PM where they will train across singing, acting and dance , developing technique alongside character, storytelling, ensemble work, performance confidence and the ability to bring all three disciplines together.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Company members work towards filmed and live performance opportunities that allow them to apply their training in a professional-style environment, alongside opportunities to represent The Lab at selected events, showcases and productions.
JOIN THE COMPANY
Entry into The Lab Musical Theatre Company is through an audition and selection process. We are interested in performers with potential, passion and a willingness to learn — not simply those who are already the finished product.
